Larnach Castle took 15 years to build near the end of the 19th century and is New Zealand's only castle. It was lovingly restored in the 1960s and
remains one of Dunedin's top attractions.
Otago Museum is host to a tropical forest environment filled with close to a thousand butterflies. We spend ages there when we went, so it's definitely not just for kids :)
